Personal field notes
Track normal and Drip kills separately
Mark only kills you confirmed in your game. These 63 documented rows include the Crab Carcass pool and Manta. The count tracks your field notes; confirm achievement completion in the game. A Drip mark does not imply every boss has a required Drip form.

01Plan the next trip from your missing kills
Use the goal that matches your Steam achievement: Drip is the first Drip kill, Fishipedia is the all-Drip goal, and Collector is the all-creature goal. A normal mark and a Drip mark are separate notes, so select the appropriate progress filter before choosing a destination.
- Choose missing normal kills to find base creatures, or missing Drip kills for the Fishipedia hunt.
- Select one bait or route to reduce the remaining list to a manageable trip. Searching Crab Carcass groups its eight Islet catches.
- Read the row’s rod, bait and special trigger; use its guide link if a quest item or boss chain is involved.
- After the game confirms the kill, tick the matching normal or Drip box. The missing filter then removes that completed target from the current view.
02Unlock the bait hint with a base kill
On 1.1.3, finish the creature’s first kill and reopen Fishipedia to read its bait hint. A hook alone does not complete that check. Use the hint to select a return setup, then keep the bait selected while working through the matching pool.
If the name is missing from your normal notes, begin with its listed rod and bait. For a boss, open the linked route and preserve the trigger item before selling your catch. Tuna leads to Albatross, while the Bowhead result belongs to the later Mutated Whale chain.
03Prepare Wishbone and keep the correct bait
For a longer hunt, use the rock-pillar islet’s Wishbone purchase route and check the chance shown in your in-game Fishipedia. The community routes describe euro upgrades for Drip chance. Patch 1.1.2 changed their prices, so budget from the current offer before spending.
Keep the missing creature’s bait equipped after the upgrade. Wishbone improves the reported Drip chance; the bait still selects the pool. When a possible Drip appears, finish the fight and confirm the named game record or achievement response before marking the Drip column.
- No bait hint yet → complete the first kill on a build with the 1.1.3 hint.
- Wishbone prompt says “Maxed for this island” → inspect the chance already shown in Fishipedia before trying to buy again.
- A normal creature appears → keep the matching bait for the remaining targets and record only the result the game confirms.
04Troubleshoot the last missing entry by name
Compare the unfinished name with the game’s own record, then fix the relevant setup before repeating a long session. If your browser checklist looks complete but Steam has not unlocked the achievement, confirm that you are checking the same save and the Drip column, then review the game’s remaining entries.
- Tench → select Crab Carcass and check for the 1.1.2 spawning fix.
- Carp / Koi Fish / Dogfish / Tripod Fish → revisit Beginner / Standard / Professional / Scientific Lure respectively.
- Manta → prepare at the bridge islet and use the movable dark oil barrel as the trigger.
- Missing bait hint → confirm a completed first kill, then reopen Fishipedia on 1.1.3 or later.
05Keep your notes for the next session
The checklist saves marks in this browser. Return with the same browser and device to continue; take a screenshot of important gaps before clearing browsing data or moving to another device. If storage is blocked, use the list during the current visit and keep your own copy before closing it.
Use the game’s Fishipedia and Steam for the final completion signal. The website’s 63 documented rows include a separately labeled Bing Bong community report, while the reviewed 1.1.3 screenshot shows a 62-creature game counter. Your notes help plan the next encounter; the game decides which entries your save still needs.

What this guide can confirm
- Wishbone’s pillar-islet purchase and displayed Drip-chance role are community observations cross-checked against 1.1.3 screenshots; 1.1.2 officially confirms its repricing.
- Steam achievement wording separates the one-Drip, all-Drip Fishipedia and all-creature Collector goals.
- Patch 1.0.5 fixed an extra-Drip completion bug but did not publish a complete named roster.
- Patch 1.1.3 adds post-kill bait names to the in-game Fishipedia, while 1.1.2 fixes Tench spawning from the new bait.
- The 63-row field list adds 13 names to the older 50-row tracker. Community 1.1.3 screenshots confirm new bait mappings and show a 62-creature game counter; Bing Bong remains a separate hidden-encounter report. Personal checklist totals are not official achievement thresholds.
