Official 31-goal checklist

Every requirement below is the official Steam wording. Completion marks stay only in this browser, and the route column makes clear whether the next step is a focused guide, supporting route or still an evidence gap.

| DripCollection | Kill a drip creature | This is one confirmed Drip kill, not a rare-variant claim. Keep dated evidence for the creature because the official list does not provide a roster. | Route supportFishipedia Achievement Guide | |
| Who stole my beerProgression | Find and kill the culprit, and bring it to the lighthouse keeper | Protect the distinct first-route item and finish the Lighthouse hand-in before selling routine creature material. | Focused guideEmpty Beer Can Route | |
| Getting an upgradeGear & money | Upgrade the engine on the boat | Use an engine purchase that matches the current travel gate. Do not spend quest money based on an unverified speed ranking. | Focused guideBoat Upgrades Guide | |
| NoobCombat & skill | Get a kill with no kill score multiplier | Use a low-risk ordinary creature and inspect the in-game result. The official wording does not specify a weapon, map or input sequence. | Route supportTrick Shots Guide | |
| DinnertimeProgression | Catch dinner for the lady in the forest | Follow the active Forest objective before starting the Giant Piranha chain. A finished catch still needs the intended quest response. | Focused guideSecond Island Guide | |
| Let me goWorld interaction | Get picked up by a seagull | The official condition is clear, but a reproducible safe setup has not been independently checked for the current build. | Official condition onlyNo focused page yet | |
| ImpressiveCombat & skill | Get a 5x killscore multiplier | Treat this as a controlled skill test on a non-quest creature. The official record does not publish a fixed multiplier recipe. | Route supportTrick Shots Guide | |
| GrillmasterWorld interaction | Start the grill | This should happen during a normal route. Avoid turning it into a cooking-value claim that the achievement does not require. | Route supportBeginner Guide | |
| VacationProgression | Help the tourist swim on his vacation | Use the active quest and updated map cue as the completion check. The official description does not publish a permanent coordinate. | Route supportIsland Map Guide | |

| Rich! MillionaireGear & money | Sell something worth 100,000 or more | The official goal gives a sale threshold, but not a stable item, price table or gambling strategy. Treat source-specific values as volatile. | Official condition onlyNo focused page yet | |
| CollectorCollection | Find and kill all the creatures | Confirm kills, then check the expanded table for Crab Carcass catches and Manta if an older checklist left you short. | Focused guideCollector Achievement Guide | |
| Everyone's dreamCombat & skill | Kill a seagull with dynamite | Patch changes make explosive use version-sensitive. The official condition does not establish a safe angle, distance or self-damage exception. | Official condition onlyNo focused page yet | |

| FishipediaCollection | Find and kill all drip creatures | Confirm a Drip kill for this single-creature milestone. Fishipedia is the all-Drip goal; use the in-game record to check each result. | Focused guideFishipedia Achievement Guide | |
| BeanCombat & skill | Finish the game within 1 hour | Use a dedicated current-patch run. The Patch 1.0.5 locked-island travel fix makes pre-patch Volcano shortcuts invalid. | Focused guideBean Achievement Guide | |
| BilingualGear & money | Earn your first euro | Sell Money in a Bottle or a Crab Carcass catch to a merchant. Check the € payout and balance, then confirm Bilingual in Steam. | Focused guideEarn your first euro | |

| Hobin RoodCombat & skill | Kill a creature with an arrow | Buy the Bow with euros at the archery-target islet, then finish a creature with an arrow. A purchase or a nonlethal arrow hit does not complete the goal. | Focused guideFind the Bow and plan an arrow kill |
01Use official conditions as the fixed checklist layer
Steam lists 31 achievements for How to Fish as of October 16, 2026. Bilingual, Money in a bottle and Hobin Rood extend the older 28-goal list. Their requirements are earning a first euro, finding bottle money and killing a creature with an arrow. These are separate goals, so check the Steam result for each before marking it complete.
The Islet Update arrived on September 28, followed by patches 1.1.2 and 1.1.3 on September 29. The new rows link the official conditions to cross-checked bottle, euro and Bow routes. Older boss and speedrun guides keep their own review dates. Read that version scope before relying on a physics-dependent tactic.
02Use the local marks to plan, not to impersonate Steam
The Done boxes save only in this browser and never read or write a Steam account. Mark an entry after Steam gives you the result, not before, so the checklist remains a planning aid rather than a second achievement system. Filters can isolate collection, combat, money and progression work when a run has a single purpose. Resetting the marks removes only this site’s local record.
A focused guide is linked when it answers a documented route question, such as Bean, Collector, Fishipedia or a specific boss chain. Route support means the linked page explains the surrounding system but does not claim to guarantee the achievement. Official condition only means the goal is real but the current source set cannot yet support a reliable walkthrough. This distinction is intentional information, not an unfinished blank.
03Keep the three collection goals separate
Drip requires one Drip creature, Collector requires finding and killing all creatures, and Fishipedia requires finding and killing all Drip creatures. Their similar names hide different completion scopes. The expanded table includes eight Crab Carcass catches, Manta and four missing lure entries alongside the separate Bing Bong report. Use the game’s record to find remaining entries instead of treating the site’s checklist count as a completion threshold.
Since Patch 1.1.3, an in-game Fishipedia entry shows its bait name after you kill that creature once. Use that hint when returning for a Drip form, then record the Drip kill separately from the normal kill. For a boss row, protect the special trigger and the post-fight progression item before selling anything. Record the patch and setup when the older table disagrees with the game.
04Treat combat and money achievements as separate runs
360 no scope, Impressive, Easy, Handyman and Everyone’s dream have short official goals but can be sensitive to weapon choice, physics and patches. Practice on a non-quest creature before trying an attempt that consumes rare bait or risks a final route. The current sources do not establish a universal input recipe, score formula or best weapon for those entries. A recorded current-build test is more useful than a recycled loadout claim.
GOLD GOLD GOLD, All in and the 100,000 sale achievement also have narrow official outcomes, not reliable money advice. Keep route money separate from chance-based experiments until a normal progression save is secure. The official list does not provide a stable price table, roulette probability model or guaranteed legendary-skin path. A completion checklist should make that uncertainty clear instead of normalizing a gambling loss as a route requirement.
05Plan the next missing goal after the Islet Update
If you completed the old 28-goal list, start by checking Bilingual, Money in a bottle and Hobin Rood. Existing browser marks stay attached to the same achievement names when new rows are added. A lower displayed percentage after this update reflects the larger checklist rather than lost completion marks. Return to the Steam list to confirm any achievement you remember unlocking.
If collection is your remaining goal, use the in-game bait hint before repeating an old lure setup. Patch 1.1.2 fixed Tench not spawning from the new bait, so update the game before diagnosing that specific problem. Bean and other older route achievements still need their own version checks. Finish one goal at a time so you can identify which action earned the unlock.
